Lil Rounds - I'm Every Woman by Chaka Khan
The judges were relentless with their criticism and Kara even said that Lil has been every woman but herself. In another bold move, Lil disagreed with the entire panel of judges
Gak tau kenapa, Lil sampai minggu ini masih belum bisa menunjukkan jati dirinya. Penampilannya lebih ke "good karaoke" dibanding dengan kontestan lain.

Kris Allen - She Works Hard for the Money by Donna Summer
Ryan interviewed Kris Allen before his performance of Donna Summer's "She Works Hard for the Money." Kris said this song is meaningful because "it's about a woman, who, works really hard, for the money." Fortunately, Kris' risky acoustic performance was better than his definition of the song, and the judges thought the risk paid off.
Kebalikan dari Lil, penampilan Kris makin solid dengan aransemen lagu yang baru. Pantas saja Simon selalu memujinya.

Danny Gokey - September by Wind & Fire
Kara said Danny singing disco is like Simon wearing plaid - it's unnatural. The judges agreed that his vocals were great, but Simon called the performance "clumsy." Perhaps the extra facial scruff was throwing Danny off balance.
Agree with the judges...vocalnya mantapssss.......

Allison Iraheta - Hot Stuff by Donna Summer
The judges weren't fond of the arrangement, but Simon called her performance "brilliant."

Adam Lambert - If I Can't Have You by Yvonne Elliman
Kara said he looked like a cross between Saturday Night Fever and Clark Kent. Ryan told Adam that he melted a gushing Paula "into a pool of Abdul."
tampil tanpa dandanan ala Adam dan nyanyinya slow and so emotional.....(perasaan temanya disco deh)

Matt Giraud - Stayin' Alive by Bee Gees
Simon said I didn't hear any originality. Paula summed it up best when she said Matt sings like she bowls and "sometimes it's gutters and sometimes it's strikes. This was a strike!"
Mentang2 abis diselamatkan judges, langsung pilih lagu Stayin' alive. Agree with Simon, kayak karaoke.

Anoop Desai - Dim All The Lights by Donna Summer
Kara thought it was one of Anoop's best, Simon thought it was one of Anoop's worst, and I thought there was no need to dim all the lights when you have that 5 o'clock shadow.

Dance & Shout! It was time to "Shake Your Body Down to the Ground" with a vibrant disco group number that was choreographed by Paula Abdul! Though the Idols said Paula worked them out to the extreme, they had a wonderful time learning the dance moves and wearing disco garb.
Di elimination day, seperti biasa, di awal acara para kontestan nyanyi bareng, untuk episode ini, ada latihan khusus koreo dari Paula Abdul......hasilnya...not bad, tapi Kris lucu dancenya.
