whuahhhh....telat banget postingnya.....disaat American Idol udah eliminasi dari Top 9 jadi Top 8, aku baru posting u/ Top 10. Yuk kita mulai.... Tema Top 10 kali ini adalah MOTOWN............

Jadi motown tuh nama perusahaan recording dari detroit kependekan dari motor dan town. recording company pertama yang dimiliki oleh seorang afro american. Artis2 seperti Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross & The Supremes, dan The Jackson 5 adalah sebagian kecil artis2 motown....bisa bayangin sendiri kan udah berapa lagu2 top yg dihasilkan artis2 tsb.

Di sesi kali ini, para finalis ditemani oleh Smokey Robinson, lead singer nya The Miracles.

Matt Giraud - Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
The judges began calling him a "frontrunner," and Kara even joked that the ladies will surely love that performance!
Matt tampil duluan nehhh....dia main piano di awal lagu....mantaps banget...lagu yg dibawakan bener2 genre yg tepat buat dia, begitu kata Simon dan menurut Smokey pun Marvin Gaye akan suka ama versi Matt....duh...semakin cinta ama Matt....

Kris Allen - How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) by James Taylor
The judges are stunned by his consistently great performances. Simon did have a piece of advice for Kris, however. He said that he needs to pick up some of the "swagger" and confidence that the other hopefuls seem to have.
Di lagu ini, kris sambil main gitar, "how sweet it is" ada juga yg versi Michael Buble tapi aku lebih suka versi Kris....wah co2 idol ku memang keren2....kalo Matt kadang2 gak konsisten, kalo Kris makin baik....padahal di awal2 aku agak meragukan Kris lhoo...

Scott MacIntyre - You Can't Hurry Love by The Supremes
Scott MacIntyre performed "You Can't Hurry Love" at the grand piano, despite Paula's concern the week before that he might be using it as a crutch. She thought the backup singers helped make it fresh, but the other judges are looking for something more. Simon said that he still hasn't chosen the right song.
Yap...Scott penampilannya kurang greget...but he's a good singer and piano player.

Megan Joy - For Once In My Life by Stevie Wonder
the judges weren't fond of the song choice for her vocals. The bright side? They all thought she looked amazing, and Paula told her, "Your stunning beauty just takes my breath away."
Bagiku, For Once in My Life yg paling keren adalah versinya my one and only...Michael Buble. Ternyata lagu ini buanyak banget versinya....The Temptations, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, bahkan Dean Martin pernah merekam lagu ini.

Anoop Desai - Ooo Baby Baby by The Miracles
The judges continue to be impressed by his vocals. However, the general consensus is they'd like to see him push it a bit more. Randy told him he likes to hear him "croon and swoon," but next week "Get the party on!"
Anoop tampil smooth banget..........nah ini lagu yg pas, sang mentor Smokey Robinson kan penyanyi aslinya.

Michael Sarver - Ain't Too Proud To Beg by The Temptations
Unfortunately, the judges thought the song seemed to dominate him instead of the other way around.
Duuhhh....michael ini suaranya bagus tp keseringan salah pilih lagu...dan dia harus OUT.

Lil Rounds - (Love Is Like A) Heat Wave by Martha and the Vandellas
Although Simon called her performance an "authentic tribute to Motown," the judges thought the song seemed a bit rushed.
Lil bener2 terharu waktu para finalis diajak ke Hitsville building nya Motown

Adam Lambert - Tracks Of My Tears by The Miracles
The judges were blown away by his tender rendition as was Smokey Robinson, who gave him a standing ovation. Simon called it "the best performance of the night."
Wahhhh...Adam bener2 mengejutkan, dia yg biasanya gothic look, malam itu rapi jali...rambutnya rapi, pake jas keren....classic cool

Danny Gokey - Get Ready by The Temptations
The judges have no complaints about his vocals. The performance, however, wasn't one of their favorites. As Kara said, "I thought it was good, but not great, but I'm still a huge Danny fan." Simon gave him a bit of a hard time, calling it "clumsy and amateurish!"
hmmm...aku gak inget penampilannya Danny...hihihi...udah lama banget berlalu.....but he really has a beautiful voice.

Allison Iraheta - Papa Was A Rolling Stone by The Temptations
Kara even told her that she sounds like she's been singing for 400 years! But Randy said it best in his own way by exclaiming "That was blazing hot!"
Nah...ce rocker ini stabil penampilannya tp don't know why sering banget di bottom 3, yah meski akhirnya dia tetep safe...she doesn't deserves the bottom three. You go girl....

O ya...bintang tamunya di acara eliminasinya mantaps abissssssss............ada duet Smokey Robinson dan Joss Stone.........ada juga Stevie Wonder yg medley lagu2 seperti My Cherie Amour....Overjoyed....duhhhhh kereeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Yap...Michael Sarver meski harus OUT, tapi dia tetep ikut konser Top 10, but i believe he won't forget that night.
