Paula told him he needs to work on his stage presence, and Simon cut to the quick by telling him it was a "complete and utter mess" and a "wanna be" performance.
Megan Joy - Turn The Lights Down Low by Bob Marley
The judges were pretty harsh about what they thought was a boring performance. Channeling his "inner Simon," Randy told Megan it was "like watching paint dry!"
Danny Gokey - What Hurts The Most by Rascal Flatts
Kara said that he moved everyone in the room emotionally, and Paula told him that this is where he thrives. Randy wants to see his "swagger" return next week, however, but Simon wants Danny to leave his swagger at home!
Allison Iraheta - Don't Speak by No Doubt
While the judges continue to think she's the real deal, her wacky outfit and equally nutty hair do was a distraction in their eyes. As Kara explained, she doesn't need to wear crazy clothes, as her rock persona comes through no matter what. Of course, Simon was a bit more brutal, telling her it was like something from The Addams Family.
Scott MacIntyre - Just The Way You Are by Billy Joel
The judges were very impressed. As Randy said, "One of the best of the night, Dude."
Tanpa diiringi Ricky Manor and the band, scott hanya tampil dengan pianonya....hasilnya....his best performance since week one.
Matt Giraud - You Found Me by The Fray
The judges did not think he seemed comfortable, and ultimately missed the soulful side of him that they love.
Lil Rounds - I Surrender by Celine Dion
Although they are continually blown away by what Kara calls "effortless" vocals, Simon told her that it felt like this was her singing to stay in the competition with a "safe" song. Ouch, Simon!
Adam Lambert - Play That Funky Music
The judges continue to be astounded by his ability to make everything he sings unique. Kara said she can't wait to get to the show each week to see what he's going to do next, and Paula put him in the same category as Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler!
Kris Allen - Ain't No Sunshine
The judges thought it was his best so far, and Randy said he's "in the zone right now." Paula told him it could be his first cut off his album, and Kara declared "That is artistry!"
