American Idol Season 8 - Say Goodbye To....

Di episode American Idol yang ke 300, bertepatan dengan the first ever all male final 3, semua kontestan pulang ke kampung halaman masing2 untuk bertemu keluarga dan untuk mengetahui lagu apa yang dipilih oleh judges untuk mereka. Mereka juga akan tampil dengan lagu pilihan sendiri.

Lagu Pilihan Judges
In Milwaukee, Danny Gokey found out that Paula chose Terence Trent D'Arby's "Dance Little Sister" for him to sing. Despite not knowing the song, Danny looked confident as he performed. Simon criticized his dance moves, but Paula defended them.

While in Arkansas, and while wearing a smudge of blue nail polish, Kris Allen learned that Randy & Kara chose OneRepublic's "Apologize." The judges called Kris' performance competent, but not original. Simon criticized Randy & Kara for not suggesting a more creative arrangement.

Looking for an excuse to have tea time with Bono, Simon selected U2's "One" for Adam Lambert. The mood of the performance was enhanced with blue light and swaying arms. Kara said Adam is an amazing strategist, and Simon patted himself on the back for "a brilliant song choice."

Lagu Pilihan Peserta
Danny Gokey decided to sing Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful" in a stripped down way with just a stool and some string instruments. The judges enjoyed seeing this side of Danny, and Randy said that Danny showed he can really (times 3) sing.

Kris Allen gave the judges what they wanted when he sang an acoustic version of Kanye West's "Heartless." The judges were very pleased with Kris' performance, and Randy even thought this version was better than The Fray's version and better than Kanye's version.

Adam Lambert closed out the night with Aerosmith's "Cryin'." He stuck closely to the original song and let his vocal range shine. The judges met Adam with rave reviews, but Adam replied by saying he's just honored to share the stage with the wonderful two men that just sang before him.

Hanya 1 juta suara yang memisahkan 2 contestant yang selamat. Contestant pertama yang masuk ke Finale adalah......................................Kris Allen.
Tempat terakhir harus diperebutkan oleh Adam dan Danny, 2 orang ini yang dari awal dijagokan oleh judges untuk tampil di final. Ternyata tempat ke 2 direbut oleh.............Adam Lambert.

So....goodbye Danny Gokey......"Danny was told that it's the end of the road for him".

Next week.....Idol Finale......Adam ato Kris yang bakal jadi American Idol????
