Simon said that the bar was set so high, "nobody can top that now.
Adam tampil sebagai peserta pertama dengan rambut baru. Peserta pertama yang nyanyi lagunya Led Zeppelin di Idol neh......O ya, Rock Week adalah tema yang ditunggu2 oleh Adam, dan hasilnya......well...komentar Simon sudah cukup menggambarkan.
Allison Iraheta - Cry Baby by Janis Joplin
The judges appreciated Allison's vocals but not her song choice, and Allison wasn't afraid to give them a piece of her mind.
Allison tampil dengan rambut sedikit beda, ada highlight warna ungu di rambut merahnya....
Setelah penampilan solo dari Adam dan Allison, Kris & Danny tampil duet dengan lagu Renegade by Styx
The judges liked the parts where the two sang together better than when they sang apart. Hopefully these two would be able to sing well separately during their solos.
Kris Allen - Come Together by The Beatles
The judges gave Kris mixed reviews, saying they appreciated his artistry, but Simon thought it was "a bit like having ice for lunch."
Waktu sesi latihan, Kris dipinjami gitarnya Slash, neh komennya : "I almost wanted to pee my pants." hehehehe......

Danny Gokey - Dream On by Aerosmith
Simon thought the scream was like something out of a horror movie, although he doesn't think it will affect Danny's impressive record of never landing in the bottom 3.
It's definitely not Danny's kinda song.....dan bener... diakhir lagu ada teriakan a la Steven Taylor, kaget juga dengernya....
Sebagai penutup, duet Adam & Allison menyanyikan Slow Ride by Foghat
Adam and Allison blew away the judges with their performance and Kara appreciated how they were pushing each other to become better.
